Keep It Hot? Or Not?

There have been many questions on whether or not spa water should be cooled or not.

The answer is that it depends.

If you spa/hot tub is used frequently, the water should be kept hot. The water temperature should be at the temperature you like it at or a few degrees cooler.

If you do not use your spa frequently, it would be acceptable to cool the water down.

It takes approximately 30 minutes to warm up a spa/hot tub. So if you use your spa frequently it will be an energy and money saver to keep you spa at or near the temperature you like it at.
